North American resin-distribution markets bounced back in Q1, ACC says

Strategic alliances and partnerships characterized the U.S. resin-distribution market in 2009 as distribution-related resin sales slowed in the U.S. and Canada, according to data released by the American Chemistry Council. However, the market for resins such as high-density polyethylene and linear low-density PE significantly recovered during the first quarter of 2010, while polypropylene, polyvinyl chloride and low-density polyethylene fared even better, ACC data show.
