CSX: Northwest Ohio hub will shorten transport time of shipments

CSX says its new intermodal terminal in Northwest Ohio will be more cost-effective than over-the-road trucking for shippers looking to move goods between the West Coast and the Ohio Valley. CSX says it can move the goods between 24 and 48 hours faster. "Faster, more reliable terminals, it all comes together at Northwest Ohio. It's how we get the goods to market that is crucial," said Michael Rutherford, marketing director for CSX.
