Oncologists to test value of end-of-life discussion checklist

Sixty oncologists will test whether using a checklist that guides end-of-life care discussions with cancer patients can help ensure they get the type of care they want. The goal of the Harvard Medical School study is to engage patients earlier in the disease process.
