Juwi's wind project in Uruguay gets $96M commitment from OPIC

Germany's Juwi has secured a loan from Overseas Private Investment Corp. worth up to $96 million to develop a 50-megawatt wind farm in Uruguay. The Melowind project is projected to cost about $128 million to build and will use wind turbines supplied by Nordex USA, said an OPIC spokeswoman.
