LIMRA: Small businesses open to providing voluntary benefits

According to a study from LIMRA, 53% of small businesses do not provide employee health insurance coverage and 60% of these small businesses are unfamiliar with voluntary products. The study also reports that two-thirds of small businesses that don't offer benefits have not been approached by insurance agents or brokers in the past year, although at least 40% have considered offering coverage.
