Mich. bills would alter math, foreign language, science credits

Two bills before Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder would allow career and technical education courses to satisfy some math, foreign language and science credits for high school graduation. Supporters say the changes offer needed flexibility for students. Others contend that the changes lower academic standards.
