Health groups send message to Americans to change lifestyle, prevent disease

Three leading health groups are teaming up to deliver the message to Americans that changing their lifestyles can prevent an early death from diabetes, heart disease, cancer or stroke. The American Heart Association, the American Cancer Society and the American Diabetes Association each deal with disease that research continuously shows can be prevented through measures including quitting smoking, getting exercise and eating healthy diets, and the groups urge Americans to take such measures.
