More than half of Miami schools receive A grade

This year, 179 Miami-Dade schools received A grades, compared with 153 last year, although more campuses also earned F's, according to data from the Florida Department of Education. Nearly three-fourths of schools statewide received an A or B, yet fewer schools this year met NCLB standards, which are calculated differently from the state grades.
