Orange releases converged broadband/wireless service

Orange launched a new service that combines fixed-line broadband with the carrier's Business Everywhere data card plan, which gives enterprise customers access to 3G, GPRS, EDGE and Wi-Fi networks. The move is seen as a direct challenge to BT Group, whose 21CN initiative aims to bring converged services to the masses via a new IP-based network.
