Scientists say adult cells can revert to embryonic stage

U.K. scientists have found a way to make adult cells revert to an embryonic stage, a discovery that could lead to disease treatments without the need to use embryonic stem cells or cloning. If the procedure proves feasible, a patient's own cells could be used as the starting material for a new kind of regenerative medicine.
