AIG chief wants one regulator in New York

American International Group Chief Executive Officer Martin Sullivan says he hopes an overhaul of New York's financial rules creates a single regulator for the state's banking and financial industry. Sullivan is a member of the committee named in May by Gov. Eliot Spitzer to reform New York banking regulations. "When I go to other financial centers challenging New York such as London and Singapore, I only visit one regulator. I'd like to see the same here," Sullivan said.
