Calcium from food better for bone density than supplements

A study in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition found that calcium from food results in higher bone density in women's spines and hipbones than calcium from supplements. The researchers also found that women who both ate foods containing calcium and took supplements had an even higher bone mineral density and daily intake.
