States' research into educational technology said to be promising

Nine states this fall will present three years of federally funded research into technology's impact on teaching and learning, and eSchool News says early reports are promising. The previews come just a few months after the Education Department said a major ed-tech report showed many reading and math educational software programs had little effect on test scores.
