Airbus output could drop 25%, executives warn

Airbus is warning that its production could fall by as much as 25% over the next two years as airlines cut back on spending for new aircraft. The European plane maker already has announced production cuts of about 15% on its A320, A330 and A380 models, but that might not be enough. "We have the flexibility to go further if needed," Louis Gallois, CEO of parent company EADS, said on Saturday.
