Kai Sensors to develop sleep disorder detection device

The National Science Foundation has awarded the Small Business Innovation Research Phase I contract to Kai Sensors to create a prototype of a device that can wirelessly detect sleep apnea and other sleep disorders. The company could proceed with a second phase of the contract worth $500,000 once it completes the prototype.
