Obama, lawmakers will mull immigration reform

President Barack Obama is expected to meet with groups that support changes to national immigration policy. Supporters of immigration reform see it as an opportunity to require immigrants to learn English and pay fines and fees to gain legal status. However, opponents say the U.S. economy cannot support a large volume of illegal immigrants. Many analysts say legislation must include a guest worker program as well as additional visa programs.
