VA to present investigation results at congressional hearing

The Department of Veterans Affairs is scheduled Tuesday to present to a congressional panel the results of its investigation into the errors committed at its hospitals in Miami, Augusta, Ga., and Murfreesboro, Tenn., that might have exposed thousands of patients to HIV and other infectious diseases. The panel seeks to determine whether the errors were isolated to the three hospitals or part of a larger institutional problem.
