AARP backs Senate amendment to ban pay-for-delay deals

Seniors' group AARP gave its support for a proposal in the Senate that would prohibit brand-name drug companies from paying generic-drug firms to delay the launches of cheaper versions of medicines. The proposal is an amendment to the American Workers, State, and Business Relief Act.
