How credit card marketers are responding to new law

The Credit Card Accountability Responsibility and Disclosure Act, which became law last year, is affecting how credit card companies market their products. JPMorgan Chase, for example, is using a new legal requirement that statements include more information about charges and payoff dates as the foundation for its online Blueprint tool, which helps cardholders managed their balances.
