Is it time to give your goals a shave?

Many bosses believe their job is to set BHAGs -- "big, hairy, audacious goals" -- in order to steer their company to a radically better place, Robert I. Sutton writes. In fact, Sutton argues, the best leaders understand that huge, hairy goals are usually better left unspoken; they're too daunting for everyday discussion, so it's often more fruitful to focus on incremental, obviously achievable goals.
