Sleep problems are tied to ADHD-like symptoms in children

A U.S. study based on parent reports found that sleep disorders in children and adolescents are strongly associated with symptoms that resemble those of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder. The lead researcher said it can be difficult for providers to determine whether sleep disorders are imitating ADHD or exacerbating it.
