Students recognized for use of technology in language lesson

Students at a California high school were honored for their use of technology in a Spanish-language lesson, winning Los Angeles County's 2011 Digital Voice award for Best Foreign Language Video. "These students were non-native speakers in a Spanish 3 class and they were able to create a script and use great visuals to show a deep understanding of the language," judge Laura Smith said.
