Fifth-grade students from Stetser Elementary School in Chester, Pa., are bouncing back with the help of college students and residents in the community after vandals damaged the school's garden. The ripped-up raised beds and torn plants were replaced with new plants, a fence and stronger beds. As they worked, students and teachers talked about adding kale, collard greens and spinach to the garden.
