Successful IB students could get year of college credit under bill

Texas Gov. Rick Perry may sign a bill that would give successful International Baccalaureate students at least one year of credit at Texas colleges. The globally recognized, rigorous program is now offered in nearly 500 schools across the country, up from 300 six years ago.
