Scaled down World Trade Center memorial plan expected

Revised plans for a new, less-costly World Trade Center memorial are to be unveiled next week, according to New York Gov. George Pataki and New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. The new scaled-down plan, which should cost no more than $500 million, was called for after an earlier plan had a price tag of an estimated $1 billion.
