In-cinema ads report boffo box office

The in-cinema advertising sector pulled in a reported $540 million in 2007, an 18.5% uptick from the year before, according to information from the Cinema Advertising Council. On-screen ads make up 92% of the spending; the remainder consists of events, in-lobby promotions and giveaways.
