ECB's Papademos spotlights rising wages

Rising wages among European workers signal that inflation is gaining force in the eurozone, European Central Bank Vice President Lucas Papademos said. Labor costs rose by 3.3% during the first quarter in the 15 countries that share the euro, the European Union's statistics agency reported Friday. That's the largest quarterly wage rise since 2003.
