FDA project will get info to doctors more quickly

More than 100,000 physicians have already signed up for the FDA's Health Care Notification Network, which is expected to launch in July. The industry-funded network will be able to notify doctors of new problems with drugs and devices within a day or two, rather than the three to four weeks it takes now.
