Crowding the field of innovation

More companies are turning their design and innovation operations over to their customers, notes John Winsor, and the "crowdsourcing" trend doesn't show any signs of dying down. The phenomenon leaves many questions unanswered, however, including how companies will manage this new relationship with their customers and how creative agencies will cope with the shift.
