Rhode Island residents save under new hurricane-deductible law

A new Rhode Island law will prevent insurers from hiking residents' deductibles if the state is threatened by a hurricane that doesn't actually hit it. Previously, insurers only needed a hurricane warning to be issued before they could start raising deductibles. PCI Director of Personal Lines Lynn Knauf says she doesn't know of another state with a similar law.
