Virgin's broadband customers gain digital access to Universal's music

Virgin Media and Universal Music Group have announced a partnership to create a new music service that will allow the former's broadband customers to download an unlimited number of songs from the latter's roster of artists for a monthly subscription fee. The music will be available for download as MP3 files, which will enable playback on a host of devices, including MP3 players, wireless phones and computers.
