Mass. area looks to train police on animal-domestic abuse link

A new program in Middlesex County, Mass., aims to train the public and local police about the relationship between animal cruelty and domestic abuse. According to a survey, about 85% of women at 50 domestic violence shelters in the area also reported animal cruelty in their homes.
