Survey: More consumers are counting calories

In a survey conducted by Harris Interactive for the Food Marketing Institute and Prevention magazine, 43% of consumers said they are paying more attention to calories compared with two years ago. Adult shoppers placed sodium levels and fat at the top of their nutrition-label concerns, followed by sugar and artificial sweeteners.
