EdeniQ secures license for yeast-fermentation process

EdeniQ has acquired a license to use yeast-fermentation technology from the Department of Agriculture's Forest Products Laboratory and the Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation. The technology would allow EdeniQ to process lignocellulosic material into sugars for ethanol production. The company is planning to integrate the technology at the pilot-scale cellulosic-ethanol plant it is building in Visalia, Calif.
