High school, college grads seek plastic surgery

College graduates are asking for plastic surgery as graduation gifts, says plastic surgeon Tony Youn. Many people seek plastic surgery around the time of a major life change, and grads are no different, he said. Youn said he is also seeing more high school students seeking plastic surgery for graduation and blames reality television shows for the trend. "It's glamorizing our profession, it's glamorizing surgery, which is a very serious thing," Youn said.
