Rue21 leads the recovery for teen apparel chains

Teen apparel retailers are largely back on an even keel after a two-year slump, and aspirational brand Rue21 is seeing a particularly good recovery. The chain, which appeals to 11-to-17-year-olds, has boosted profits with stores in smaller communities that cost less to open and have fewer rivals vying for teens' clothing dollars.
