Firm reportedly considers $1B sale of Grocery Outlet chain

The private equity firm that owns Grocery Outlet reportedly is considering a sale of the more-than-180-store discount chain, which could be valued at more than $1 billion. Berkshire Partners is working with Barclays and Goldman Sachs regarding a possible sale process, sources said.
