Fla. firms foster STEM with partnership, rewards

Two Florida companies have channeled their concern for the future workforce into programs to promote science, technology, engineering and math education. Tech Data has partnered with St. Petersburg College to start a pilot laboratory course. The Mosaic Co., has awarded more than $8,500 in gift cards to employees' children who excel in STEM studies.
