Seattle school district may ban soda sales during school day

Under a proposed extension of Coca-Cola's exclusive contract with the Seattle School District, soda sales to middle-school students may be banned during the school day. The proposed ban could leave the school district in a financial quagmire, especially when revenues from soda sales are used to fund academic and after-school activities. A vote is expected July 2.
