Precast concrete creates better building for Pennsylvania contractor

Bethlehem Precast, a subsidiary of Engelman Construction of Macungie, Pa., says using precast concrete is a more efficient way to construct buildings because it takes two days to install compared with three weeks for cast-in-place concrete. The latest project created curved elements at the National Constitution Center in Philadelphia, which needed quick construction for an amphitheater in two days.
