Study: High-fiber cereal found to reduce insulin in men at risk of diabetes

According to researchers, insulin peaks are minimized in men with hyperinsulinema when they eat a high-fiber cereal; the same result did not occur after lower-fiber meals. The insulin management characteristics of the high-fiber meal were not present in the men with normal insulin levels.
