Gilead wins FDA approval for Letairis

Gilead Sciences' Letairis received approval to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension while approval for a similar drug from Encysive Pharmaceuticals was delayed. Encysive says the FDA recommended another clinical trial to prove the efficacy of Thelin, which is approved in Europe and Canada.
