Life science companies look to build in smaller cities

Living costs in biotech hot spots such as Boston, San Diego and San Francisco have risen to such a degree that some life science companies are looking elsewhere. One venture consulting firm, Buffalo Biosciences, established a new economic-development unit last week to bring together smaller regions and biotech companies.
