Foreign interest in U.S. securities jumped in April

U.S. securities saw a jump in demand from foreign investors during April. Net foreign acquisition of long-maturity U.S. securities totaled $102.8 billion in April, up from $53.3 billion in March, according to a Treasury report released Monday. The increased demand was partly due to greater interest in Treasury notes and bonds.
