Majority of gamers approve of in-game ads

A survey of around 1,300 gamers commissioned by IGA Worldwide showed that 82% are not bothered by the presence of advertising in games and that advertisers who ran in-game ads enjoyed a 44% increase in brand recall among gamers. IGA Worldwide CEO Justin Townsend said, "Gamers like in-game ads when done in a contextually relevant way and there is no arguing that."
