Airbus: No new narrow-body jet before 2020

Airlines hoping for a new narrow-body jet from Airbus may have to wait until at least 2020, the plane maker says. COO John Leahy says the time frame is driven largely by technical issues rather than economic concerns. Airbus originally hoped to begin deliveries of its so-called A30X as early as 2018.
