Sen. Dan Weber, who heads the Georgia Senate's education committee, wants to criminalize cheating by educators. While the alleged perpetrators could be charged under an existing law covering state documents, a spokesman said Gov. Sonny Perdue might support crafting a more-specific statute if prosecutors say it is needed.
