A federal court decision that overturned a ban imposed by Santa Monica, Calif., on corporate jets at the city's airport and instead gave the FAA the authority to prevent cities from taking such actions could affect Arizona. Residents in Mesa, Ariz., have complained about noise from a new flight instruction school at Falcon Field, and the ruling could prevent the city from taking any kind of action to curtail the noise.
