Ketchum to join forces with European PR sibling Pleon

Omnicom Group has announced its U.S.-based Ketchum PR unit will join with European sibling Pleon to form one of the world's biggest PR shops. The revamped agency will use the Ketchum name except in the U.K. and continental Europe, where it will be known as Ketchum Pleon. Leading the combined shop will be Ray Kotcher, CEO and senior partner of Ketchum. The European CEO will be Timo Sieg, former chairman and CEO of Pleon.
