Study: PET/CT with HD image reconstruction improves cardiac imaging

U.S. researchers said PET/CT imaging using high-definition image reconstruction technique proved superior to three other reconstruction methods in providing improved images in cardiac studies. High-definition PET was comparable to the other techniques in terms of ejection fraction, wall motion and wall thickening, one of the researchers said.
